1. What this page is#
The Narbis applications and device firmware include open source software. This page carries the attributions and licence notices that software's licences require us to publish.
Our End User License Agreement points here, so this page has to exist and stay current.
Publishing this is an obligation, not a courtesy. Several common licences, including the MIT, BSD and Apache licences, require the copyright notice and licence text to be reproduced in any distribution. Others, including the LGPL, carry further conditions.
2. Components#
Narbis compiles the notices for each release from the build itself rather than maintaining a list by hand, because a hand written list is wrong by the next dependency change.
While that compilation is in progress, the notices for the current release are available on request, free of charge and without a reason, by writing to info@narbis.com. We will send them to you in a machine readable form. This page is updated with the full notices as each release report is produced, and the End User License Agreement points here for that reason.
The components in the Narbis products are licensed under permissive terms, principally the MIT, BSD and Apache 2.0 licenses. Where any component is licensed under terms that grant you a right to the corresponding source code, the section below tells you how to get it.
3. Requesting source#
Where a licence entitles you to the corresponding source code for a component, write to us and we will provide it or tell you where to obtain it.
