How it works
Your breath. Your rhythm. Your results.
Edge finds your personal resonance frequency, the breathing rate where heart and breath move as one, then keeps you in it through gentle lens feedback.
Connect
Pair Edge with the Narbis ear clip, a Polar H10 or Polar H9 chest strap, Polar Verity Sense, or a COOSPO HW807 armband. Each provides compatible heart-rate data for training.
Calibrate
The patented algorithm finds your personal resonance frequency: the precise breathing rate, unique to your physiology, that maximizes coherence.
Guide
The rhythm of the tint cues inhale and exhale at your resonance frequency. The overall clarity or depth of tint reflects coherence in real time. No screen or headphones required.
Train
A few minutes a day helps you practice autonomic self-regulation, so the breathing rhythm and a calmer state can become easier to return to.
Compatible setups
Choose your sensor, or train standalone after calibration.
Whichever sensor you choose, the feedback lives in the lenses, so your eyes stay on the world, not a phone. Edge supports the Narbis ear clip, Polar H10, Polar H9, Polar Verity Sense, and COOSPO HW807 armband.
Narbis Edge Ear Clip
Lightweight and discreet. Clips on and reads your pulse optically. Ideal for daily training at your desk or before you head out, and the simplest way to unlock personalized HRV biofeedback.
Polar H10 Chest Strap
A chest-worn ECG sensor for people who prioritize precise beat-to-beat heart-rate data. It is also the sensor the app's resonance-frequency discovery protocol uses. Not included; sold separately by Polar.
Polar H9 Chest Strap
A straightforward chest-worn ECG option for reliable heart-rate data. Not included; sold separately by Polar.
Polar Verity Sense
Optical armband worn on the upper arm. A comfortable pick for longer or more active training. Not included; sold separately by Polar.
COOSPO HW807 Armband
An affordable optical armband that pairs over Bluetooth for everyday training. Not included; sold separately by COOSPO.
Standalone Mode
No sensor, no app required. Out of the box, the lenses pace guided breathing at a default six breaths per minute. If you know your personal resonance frequency, program it onto the glasses with the app.
The companion app
Numbers when you want them. Never while you train.
The Narbis app pairs your sensor, runs the resonance-frequency calibration, and keeps your history: coherence scores, HRV metrics, and trends over time. During a session the feedback stays in the lenses, so the phone goes face-down.
Finding your resonance frequency
Don't know your personal resonance frequency? The app's discovery protocol finds it for you. Discovery currently requires a Polar H10 chest strap, the only sensor supported for the full protocol, and it only needs to be done once. From then on, train at your frequency standalone, or with the app and any supported sensor such as the ear clip or the COOSPO armband. Apple Watch support is coming soon.
The lens interface
Two tints. Your choice.
The tint paces your breath: tinting to inhale, clearing to exhale, a gentle reminder to breathe throughout your day. Once your coherence crosses its threshold, the lenses tint less.
A neutral, true-color tint that lowers brightness and glare. An even, low-stimulation view for winding down.
A warm, amber tint that filters blue light and lifts contrast. Many prefer it for daytime and active training.
Where it fits
Ten minutes before the moments that matter.
A daily reset
Sit, clip on, and let the lenses pace you. A short, repeatable training that fits between everything else.
Right before
Before the putt, the start line, the meeting, or the conversation: arrive already settled instead of trying to calm down mid-moment.
Recovery
Wind down after a workout or competition. Use HRV coherence training to shift your nervous system from go-mode back to rest, accelerating recovery through the lenses.
Beyond breath
Interested in brain training?
Edge also integrates with EEG neurofeedback devices: the same screen-free lenses become real-time feedback for brain training. Narbis also makes dedicated EEG neurofeedback smart glasses for deeper attention training.
The science
Decades of research. Made wearable.
Breathing at your body's resonance frequency improves HRV, lowers stress, and builds resilience. Researchers have known this for 30+ years. Edge just makes it easy to do: the lenses guide you there and keep you there, no screen or coach required.
